I commenced pool building with Roman Pools in 1997 on a part time basis, while still attending school at Nudgee College. During this time I assisted with pool setouts, trimming, steel tying, perimeter boxing, plumbing and drainage, and tiling to completion. My role also included liaising with customers on contract variations.

On completion of Year 12 in 1999, I continued my employment with Roman Pools as a full time tradesperson. This role included the responsibilities listed above, as well as managing the quality of work from site setout to hand over.

In 2003, I sought to expand my experience and knowledge by accepting a full time position at Crown Pools as a Site Foreman, overseeing completion of 4 pools a week. My position entailed organising and communicating with all required tradespeople involved with the pool construction, from commencement to handover to clients. I was also responsible for trouble shooting and on-going pool balancing and maintenance. Completion of contracts and developing designs and concepts for clients was a significant part of my work during my time with Crown Pools.

During 2006, I attended North Point TAFE on a part time basis to gain a Certificate 4 in Building. In mid 2006, I began to focus more on pool design and worked under other principal contractors to gain further industry experience in this area. Since then, I have been approached by several pool builders to coordinate their employees in a supervisory role and this has extended my overall capabilities as a pool builder.

My most recent achievement was to complete the Certificate 4 in Building which assisted in attaining my pool building licence with BSA.



Will has spent many years in the earth works industry, operating machines, surveying, running drainage and cordening trades.

Will brings a lot of big company experence to Amic Pools.



Des has worked with swimming pools for 10 years, starting of with water testing and ballancing in 1995. he progressed to trouble shooting, handovers and commishioning pools as well as plumbing and pool maintainance in 1997. Now he also takes care of job time lines and enshures that all workers and trades are opperating eficently on site.
