Pool Hydraulics and Technical Testing

Are you having trouble keeping your pool clean? Do you feel you are spending too much money on chemicals? Are you unsure your pool is safe enough for your kids? Pool hydraulics and technical testing will have the answers you are looking for.

Hydraulics, the movement of water, is understood in terms of pressure which creates flow and resistance to flow. This can have a direct effect on the day to day up keep of your pool. There are now accurate ways of testing and recording this to accurately diagnose your pool.

The owner and staff at AMIC pools are fully trained and equipped with all the technical knowledge and appropriate tools to perform these tests. This will prolong the health and life of your filtration and pool systems, as well as saving you time and money on maintenance and chemicals.

The benefits of this are not only on your chemical bill and your power bill but also on you and your family’s health. For a pool that is not running properly, the water may not be turning over enough or filtered enough which means your family will be swimming in unhygienic water. It is outlined in the Australian Health regulations every drop of water in your pool must be filtered at least twice a day.

During these tests AMIC pools also test the flow rates of all your plumbing. This is an extremely important safety measure, as many pools are plumbed incorrectly; creating their own suction entrapment points. Suction entrapment has been a major cause of fatalities in swimming pools. They have occurred not only in resorts but also in back yards.

Of course while we are there, we will check to make sure your pool fence and CPR chart is up to date and correct.

AMIC pools stays on the leading edge of swimming pool technology and we are dedicated to taking our industry out of the dark ages to give pool owners all the knowledge they require for the safety and maintenance of their swimming pool.
